Making Do in Peru

I recently had the opportunity to visit Peru, and it was an incredible experience. From the ancient Inca ruins to the modern city of Lima, there was so much to see and do. Here are some of the highlights of my trip:

The first stop on my journey was Cusco, which is located in the southern part of Peru. This city is known for its beautiful architecture and rich history, and it was once the capital of the Inca Empire. I visited the famous Machu Picchu, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most popular tourist attractions in Peru. The ruins are located on a mountaintop and offer stunning views of the surrounding landscape.

After Cusco, I traveled to Lima, the capital city of Peru. Here, I explored the city’s many museums and historical sites, including the Plaza Mayor and the Lima Cathedral. I also tried some of the local cuisine, which included ceviche (a dish made of raw fish), and lomo saltado (a dish made of beef and onions).

One of the highlights of my trip was a visit to the Amazon rainforest. I took a boat ride along the Amazon River and saw many amazing animals, including monkeys, sloths, and piranhas. I also visited a local village and learned about the traditional way of life of the indigenous people.

In conclusion, my trip to Peru was an amazing adventure. I was able to see many beautiful sights and learn about the rich history and culture of this country. I would highly recommend Peru to anyone who is interested in travel and adventure.
